Dreaming of property in Nova Scotia?
Untouched by the world outside, why not come for visit!

Sawmill Landing Developments invites travelers and those looking to secure a piece of paradise to Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia.

Sawmill Landing was created to give more people the opportunity to enjoy their own piece of nature in a vibrant community that still has attributes of life in the 1800s. Sherbrooke Village is a large part of the community. A restored area of the village displays life as it was during the gold rush and ship building days of the 1800s.

Venture to Sherbrooke in the summer to enjoy the slower pace, the beauty of its surroundings and the many festivals. Fish the famous St. Mary’s river, kayak to secluded beaches, sail or power your way to the mouth of the river and feel the rush of the Atlantic. There’s nothing more beautiful than living life in its purest form, amid the natural serenity of Sawmill Landing.

Music is a constant in our community so enjoy the natural acoustics of the Historic Courthouse for regular concerts.

2008 Courthouse Concert Series

Concerts will be held Thursday evenings from July 3 to August 21, and on Fridays, from August 29 to September 26. Concerts will revert to Thursdays in October, with the final concert of the season being the Road to Celtic Colours Ceilidh on October 9. All concerts start at 7:30pm. Click for more details...

Old Fashioned Christmas
Every November, we gather together to experience Christmas as it once was with windows aglow with the warmth of lanterns, people a stroll in the streets in the dress of times gone by. Join carolers as they tour the Old Village. Be welcomed by the merriment and laughter of an Old Fashioned Christmas. Live music, community breakfasts, craft shows and workshops, Santa in a horsedrawn sleigh and family skating… these are some of Sawmill’s favorite things.
